Granite Falls: Open house on land-use changes
The city plans to host an open house to review proposed changes to its comprehensive plan and land-use regulations that apply to all properties within the city limits. The open house is planned from 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at City Hall, 206 S. Granite Ave., Granite Falls.
Marysville: Sponsors, vendors sought for multicultural fair
The city is seeking sponsors and accepting submissions from vendors and performers to participate in the first Marysville Multicultural Fair, a celebration of diversity this fall that will feature ethnic foods, music, dance and art.
The free event is planned from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Sept. 28 in Comeford Park, 514 Delta Ave. The event will have cultural resource and craft vendors, with hands-on activities for children.

Terrace: Library hosts photo exhibit
The Mountlake Terrace Arts Advisory Commission plans to host the Amylynn Richards Photography Exhibit at the Mountlake Terrace Library, 23300 58th Ave. W. Richards uses Nikon cameras and lenses, paints digitally and prints her fine art and portraits on canvas, metal and acrylic.
Richards started a professional career in journalism, winning annual state awards and being published regionally. She also produced fine art that was selected for exhibition in juried art shows at local and state levels and was published nationally.
In 2012, she left journalism to open her own gallery and studio. The show runs through Aug. 31.
