COOS BAY, Ore. — The partial shutdown of the federal government has closed off public access to popular ATV trails on the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area.
But that has opened up a business opportunity for a campground operator and an ATV rental business, which are selling passes to use their access.
The World newspaper reported that the Oregon Dunes KOA and an ATV rental business next door are selling passes for people who want to get to the trails through their property.
