Body found at Port Townsend marina

PORT TOWNSEND — Police in Port Townsend say the body of a 49-year-old man was found floating in the water Sunday morning.

Officer Luke Bogues said a cause of death hasn’t been determined yet but police don’t have any evidence of a crime.

The man’s body was discovered at the port of the Port Townsend Boat Haven at about 8 a.m.

The man is a Port Townsend resident who lived aboard a boat at the marina. His identity has not been released.

Port Townsend is in Jefferson County on the northeast corner of the Olympic Peninsula.
