MARYSVILLE — Sunnyside Elementary briefly was placed on lockdown Thursday morning after a SWAT team was called to a nearby house.
Officers received a call about a father and son arguing. The father, who wasn’t allowed to possess a firearm, reportedly had a gun, Marysville police Sgt. Pete Shove said.
The elementary school was placed on lockdown around 11:15 a.m. When police arrived, the father had already left the house.
No arrests have been made.
