EDMONDS — Two people were taken to a local hospital Tuesday morning after a car in Edmonds collided with two other vehicles before hitting a building, officials said.
The car was driving southbound around 6:10 a.m. when it apparently ran a red light, Edmonds police Sgt. Mark Marsh said.
It first was struck by a westbound vehicle on 220th Street SW before it was hit broadside by an eastbound car in the intersection. It then ran into a building at the southeast corner of the intersection.
Two drivers were taken to Swedish/Edmonds hospital with what were believed to be minor injuries.
The cause of the accident was under investigation Tuesday morning, but alcohol was not a factor, Marsh said.
