EVERETT — The Carl Gipson Senior Center of Everett is set to reopen at 8:30 a.m. on Monday after a two-month closure to renovate the restrooms.
The closure displaced many of the center’s regularly scheduled activities and forced the cancellation of others.
The activities will now resume their regular schedule.
The new restroom facilities will be ADA-compliant and have updated counters, floors and lighting fixtures.
The center will mark the reopening with an all-day Aloha party with decorations, hula dancers, Hawaiian music, and a tropical-themed lunch menu. Members are encouraged to wear their best Hawaiian garb to join in the celebration.
