Cause of man’s death in Smokey Point still unknown

SMOKEY POINT — Investigators are awaiting autopsy results for a man who was found dead here Sunday.

The body of Patrick L. St Mary was found in the 3400 block of 136th Street NE, the Snohomish County Medical Examiner said Tuesday. A decision on the cause and manner of his death is pending.

The case is being investigated by the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office.

“We have no reason to believe the death is suspicious at this time,” sheriff’s spokeswoman Shari Ireton said.

The man was found on the west side of I-5 near the 136th Street overpass.
