Due to the cold temperatures forecast for tonight, the Salvation Army will open an Emergency Cold Weather Shelter at 2525 Rucker Ave., Everett.
The Emergency Cold Weather Shelter will be open to receive guests from 8 p.m to 10 p.m. The entry is in the alley. After 10 p.m., police will still be able to make drop offs. The shelter closes at 7 a.m. Wednesday.
The cold weather shelter is opened every time the weather is forecast to be 32 degrees and raining, or at 32 degrees or lower for more than four hours.
