Everett, 1964: The 50th reunion will include a party at 7 p.m. Aug. 8 at the Everett Elks Club, 2802 Hoyt Ave. No-host bar and light snacks. At 2 p.m. Aug. 9 there will be a tour of Everett High School; meet at the front door of the main building. A party caps things off at 7 p.m. Aug. 9 at Legion Memorial Golf Course, 144 W. Apologetics Forum: The next meeting of the Apologetics Forum of Snohomish County will be held 7 p.m. June 27 at Atonement Free Lutheran Church, 6905 172nd St. NE, Arlington. Arlington Recreational Garden Group: Next monthly workshop will be held 10 a.m.-noon June 28 (fourth Saturday) at the Arlington Utilities Office Building, 154 W. Cox Ave. Master Gardener Bea Randall will present on apple maggot updates, green manure, cover crops, using sludge in the garden, and growing tomatoes and other salsa ingredients. Quilceda Woodcarving Club: Meets next on June 28 (fourth Saturday) with open carving 9-11 a.m. and meeting following until about 1:30 p.m. in the ball shelter next to the ball field at Jennings Park, 6915 Armar Road, Marysville. Program presented during each meeting related to woodcarving. Don’t have to be a woodcarver to join. Guests welcome. In September, meetings return to the building next to the barn at the park.
