Clinic donates oxygen masks for pets

Helping Hands Veterinary Clinic recently donated six new oxygen masks to the Lynnwood Fire Department and Snohomish County Fire District 1. The masks are designed for pets, such as dogs and cats. Clinic staff also demonstrated how to use the masks to fire staff at presentations March 4 (Lynnwood) and March 11 (Fire District 1).

Women’s clinic gets help from Soroptimists

Liz Brackett and Lynda Smith presented a check of $1,424.23 to Safe Harbor Free Clinic from the Stanwood-Camano Chapter of Soroptimists International. The donation is meant to sustain the work the clinic does in operating a once-a-month women’s clinic.

Safe Harbor Free Clinic, at 9631 269th St. in Stanwood, offers the women’s clinic on the fourth Friday of the month.
