Sew: Put needle to work at Free Sew
Busy Bee Quilters is sponsoring a free sew at the Snohomish Library, 311 Maple Ave., on Saturday.
Anyone interested in quilting is welcome to visit, watch, learn, sew or quilt anytime between 10 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. There will be a demonstration on paper foundation piecing, as well as work on the guild’s 2013 raffle quilt, “A Touch of Spring.” Bring your own equipment and supplies.
The group meets regularly the third Thursday of the month.

Sing: Chorale seeks new singers
The Everett Chorale is seeking new choral singers for all sections.
Rehearsals are at 7 p.m. Mondays at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, 215 Mukilteo Blvd., Everett. Membership in the Everett Chorale is open to all singers with previous choral singing experience. There is a $50 registration fee.

Advise: Business expertise sought
Village Community Services seeks volunteers with extensive business expertise to help select the nonprofit’s next social enterprise.
The goal is to develop a profitable business that provides job training and employment opportunities for people who have disabilities and an additional revenue stream toward the support of Village Community Service’s programs.
Village has narrowed the possibilities to three: resale, car wash and detailing, and a family recreation center.
An informational meeting is set for noon to 1:30 p.m. Jan. 30 at 3210 Smokey Point Drive, Suite 200, Arlington. Lunch will be provided.

Mingle: Meet farmers Feb. 2
The Klesick Family Farm invites the public to “Meet Your Farmers” at an annual evening party, 7-9:30 p.m. Feb. 2 in the ballroom at the Edward D. Hansen Conference Center at Comcast Arena, 2000 Hewitt Ave., Everett.
Guests will mingle with organic farmers and suppliers, visit with the Klesick team and meet other Klesick customers who “believe in good food.”
The guest speaker will be Jon Scholl, president of American Farmland Trust, who will speak about “The Farm Bill &Conservation.”
The evening includes organic hors d’oeuvres, dessert and a cash bar and costs $30.
