Volunteer: Red Cross looking to fill ranks
American Red Cross’s Snohomish County Chapter seeks volunteers to fill specific vacancies. Volunteers make up 98 percent of the chapter’s workforce.
“Volunteers have a great deal of flexibility in filling these positions in most cases,” volunteer manager Kelly Sunagel said.
Open positions include Disaster Action Team members, Daytime Disaster Action Team members, Disaster Mental Health, Disaster Public Affairs, and Disaster Staffing.

Learn: STEM for students
The Future of Flight Foundation hosts a Family STEM Night 5:30-8 p.m. Feb. 5 at the Future of Flight Aviation Center, 8415 Paine Field Blvd., Mukilteo.

Attend: Pasta dinner supports chorale
The Sno-King Community Chorale, based in Edmonds, holds its annual pasta dinner at 5 p.m. Feb. 8 at the Edmonds Senior Center, 220 Railroad Ave. The family event includes a four-course pasta dinner, gift basket raffle and a dessert dash.
Tickets are $15 prepaid by Tuesday, $18 at the door, and $4 for children younger than 6.

Help: Feral cats are focus of class

Camp Killoqua offers School Days Off Camp for students in kindergarten to sixth grade. The next School Day Off is 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Feb. 17. Cost is $25 per child. Bus transportation is available for $7.
Spring break sessions also will be offered at $215 per session (March 31 to April 4 or April 7-11) for students in kindergarten to eighth grade. Bus transportation is $35.
