COUPEVILLE — Detectives say they know who held up a pharmacy here Jan. 4.

Police say evidence ties a 22-year-old Bremerton man to the robbery at Lind’s Pharmacy on N. Main Street, Island County sheriff’s detective Ed Wallace said.

The man and an accomplice were arrested in central Oregon for investigation of a similar pharmacy robbery, Wallace said. The suspect in the Coupeville robbery is being held in an Oregon jail on $500,000 bail.

Detectives are working to get arrest warrants to return him to Washington state to face charges here as well.
