LAKE STEVENS — Detectives continue to investigate a Lake Stevens home-invasion robbery last month that’s linked to a murder investigation in Pierce County.

The suspects in both cases allegedly used Craigslist to identify victims.

Lake Stevens Police Chief Randy Celori said detectives are interviewing four suspects who are jailed and awaiting a murder trial in Pierce County for the April 28 slaying of James Sanders at his Edgewood home.

Interviews with the suspects, some of whom have been linked by evidence to the Lake Stevens robbery, have led Lake Stevens detectives to believe that there may be as many as two additional suspects, Celori said.

No charges have been filed in Snohomish County in connection with the Lake Stevens robbery.
