LYNNWOOD — A woman in her 50s was killed Tuesday night after being struck by a car in Lynnwood.
The woman who was driving the 1990s Oldsmobile was arrested for investigation of vehicular homicide, Lynnwood police Sgt. Sean Doty said. She was released pending the results of a blood test.
The crash happened about 9 p.m. near the 4600 block of 176th Street SW. An allegation of vehicular homicide means that police have accused the driver of being under the influence, showing recklessness or disregarding the safety of others.
