Everett firefighters put out fire on boat at marina

EVERETT — A boat fire at a Port of Everett marina was reported about 9 p.m. Tuesday.

Everett Fire Department crews responded to a fire reported by Everett police, who told crews that a possibly suicidal man had set a small boat on fire, following a domestic dispute.

Smoke from the fire forced the man to leave the boat. He was taken into custody by police as the fire was extinguished by the fire department.

No serious injuries were reported.
