EVERETT — An Everett man is behind bars this week after he and some friends reportedly attacked and robbed another man who was invited into a Lombard Avenue home for a beer.

The man, 40, was at the home in the 2500 block of Lombard on Nov. 7 when his friends reportedly invited the victim in. The victim was then punched, kicked and cut with a knife, according to court records. He told police he later woke up on the porch with roughly $370 missing from his wallet.

The Everett man, who reportedly wielded one of the knives, was booked Monday into Snohomish County Jail for investigation of first-degree robbery, felony harassment and a parole violation. Bail has been set at $75,000.

His two friends were already being held for investigation of first-degree robbery and various other offenses. Both were still in jail Wednesday afternoon.
