CAMPS
Warm Beach Christian Camps and Conference Center presents its summer horsemanship camps beginning June 22.
The weekly camps include quality horsemanship instruction taught by certified staff plus trail rides, chapel, campfires, showmanship and vaulting. Skill level classes for ages 10 and older will be offered.
W-Bar-B Ranch summer youth camps start June 29.
Fourth- through sixth-graders and seventh- through ninth-graders are invited for a wagonload of Western fun.
Activities include horseback riding, swimming, archery, rocket launching, mountain boards, a climbing tower, a high-adventure ropes course and more. A horsemanship training elective allows campers to improve their riding skills.

Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church presents summer youth camps.
A volleyball camp is scheduled for 9 a.m. to noon June 23 to 26 for girls ages 9 to 13.
The cost is $30 per child and includes a shirt.
The basic skills camp includes work on passing, serving, hitting, blocking and setting with age-matched scrimmages.

The Marysville Free Methodist Church invites the public to a concert featuring Northwest Christian artist David Harsh at 8:15 a.m. and 10 a.m. June 15 at 6715 Grove St., Marysville. Harsh has won numerous awards for his work, including first place in a songwriting competition at the 29th annual American Gospel Music Association seminar in Colorado for his song “Making up for Lost Time.”

Oak Harbor Lutheran Church invites the public to Music at the Water’s Edge, a concert by the vocal quartet Angeli, at 7 p.m. June 20 at the church, 1253 NW Second Ave., Oak Harbor.
Whidbey Island singers Sharon Erickson, Carol Fitzgerald, Cynthia Akins Fletcher and Lynne Ogren will be accompanied by pianist Verna Morgan. Angeli’s concerts feature art and folk music.
The concert is free, but donations will be accepted for the Watoto Children’s Home in Uganda. Two members of Angeli plan to travel to Uganda in August to help construct a home for children orphaned by disease and poverty.

Film showing
Northshore Christian Church and filmmaker Dan Merchant present a free sneak preview of “Lord Save Us From Your Followers” 6:30 p.m. Sunday at 5700 23rd Drive W., Everett.
The movie is set to open nationally in June and the sneak preview is scheduled for one week prior to the opening.
Merchant plans to be at the church during the program to answer questions.
The documentary explores the collision of faith and culture in America. Merchant said he was fed up with what he saw as the angry, strident language filling the airwaves coming to represent the Christian faith. He set out to discover why the Gospel of Love is dividing America.
Using expert interviews, man-on-the-street bits and hilarious animations and stunts, the film provides a forum for conversation.

MEDITATION
Kadampa Meditation Center continues its series of Buddhist meditation classes.
“Improving Our Service to Others, Six Practices for Daily Life” is scheduled for 7:30 to 9 p.m. Mondays through June 23 at Anabel’s Framing and Gallery, 2531 Broadway, Everett.
