ARLINGTON — Fire heavily damaged an Arlington home Monday morning.
The two-alarm blaze was reported around 1 a.m. in the 300 block of S Cobb Avenue.
The family of four living there was able to get out safely and was being helped by relatives.
Arlington firefighters were joined by crews from the North County Regional Fire Authority, Snohomish County Fire District 19 in Silvana, Arlington Rural Fire and the Marysville Fire District.
“The fire took over an hour to extinguish due to the age and construction of the home,” said city spokeswoman Kristin Banfield.
The Snohomish County Fire Marshal is investigating the cause of the fire.
