SEATTLE — The U.S. attorney’s office says a Social Security employee was arrested Wednesday at his Seattle office and accused of looking at child pornography on his computer at work.
The 44-year-old Lynnwood man was scheduled to make his initial court appearance Wednesday afternoon.
The investigation by the Social Security Administration Office of Inspector General began in November and found evidence of child pornography on the computer as well as news stories about the penalty for possessing child pornography.
If convicted of accessing child pornography he could be sentenced to up to 10 years in prison.
