No one was injured after a fire broke out underneath a double-wide mobile home near Stanwood on Sunday.
The homeowner reported the fire at about 1 p.m. in the 26300 block of 36th Avenue NW.
Firefighters were able to get underneath the building and extinguish the fire within about 30 minutes of responding, said Christian Davis, a battalion chief for North County Fire and EMS.
The Snohomish County Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause, which is believed to involve a clothes dryer, Davis said.
The building was saved and damages were estimated at $20,000.
