Court candidates’ forum Wednesday in Everett

EVERETT — The public is invited to hear from Snohomish County Superior Court judicial candidates at a forum Wednesday in Everett.

A moderator is expected to ask questions of candidates Jack Follis and Millie Judge. The lawyers are vying for the seat on the bench soon to be vacated by longtime Judge Larry McKeeman. McKeeman is expected to retire at the end of the year.

The primary is Aug. 7 with ballots being mailed out July 20.

The judicial forum will be in the Weyerhaeuser Room at the Everett Transit Station, 3225 Cedar St., Everett. There will be time to meet the candidates, beginning at 5 p.m.

The hour-long forum is expected to begin at 5:45 p.m. There also will be a social afterward. Appetizers will be provided.

The event is being hosted by the Snohomish County Bar Association and the Snohomish County Chapter of Washington Women Lawyers. For more information, call 425-388-3056.
