The Great Northwest Glass Quest starts Friday in the Stanwood-Camano area. People who want to participate can pick up a map at businesses displaying an event poster and then head out to search for plastic clue balls.

Clue balls will tell the people on the quest where to pick up a collectible signed and numbered glass-art snowball. More information is available at www.thegreatnw glassquest.com.
