To benefit Haitian relief efforts, eight bands will entertain during an annual Battle of the Bands at Everett High School.

You need to buy a ticket, $3 or $5, in advance by calling 425-385-4445.

The concert begins at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Everett Civic Auditorium, 2415 Colby Ave. in Everett.

Eight bands will perform.

Arthritis seminar changed: Snohomish County’s Long Term Care and Aging Division offers a free seminar at 10:30 a.m. at Monte Cristo Ballroom, 1507 Wall St. in Everett.

The seminar was planned for Compass Health’s Administrative Office, 4526 Federal Ave. in Everett, but the response was so large, they needed a bigger venue, said April Zepeda, Everett Clinic spokeswoman.

Business roundtable planned today: Retail business owners can learn how to better market their stores at a roundtable event hosted by Sultan Mayor Carolyn Eslick and the Sky Valley Chamber of Commerce.

The event will be at 12:30 this afternoon at the Sultan Community Center, 319 Main St.
