A community welcome home and celebration for the Pacific All-Stars is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 27 at Lynndale Park, 18927 72nd Ave. W in Lynnwood. The Little League team, whose members are 12- and 13-year olds from Edmonds and Lynnwood, was just the second team from Snohomish County to play in the Little League World Series.
Stormwater feedback: The City of Mukilteo is looking for additional input about stormwater — issues that have not been identified through surveys, by maintenance staffers or in previous plans. The public is invited to see what project areas have been identified and let officials know which areas may have been missed at a meeting from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Mukilteo City Hall, 11930 Cyrus Way. Celebrating substance abuse recovery: Recovery Reigns is a free event Sept. 6 at Camp Patterson at Silver Lake Beach Park. People are invited to come to celebrate folks recovering from substance abuse and to learn more about resources in the community.
There will be free food, live music, games, guest speakers and information about drug and alcohol treatment.
The event will be from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The park is at 11405 Silver Lake Road, Everett.
