Dia de los Muertos fun
The Snohomish Library hosts a “Dia de los Makerspace” event for families, 6:30 p.m. Wednesday. Learn about the traditions of Dia de los Muertos — or Day of the Dead — by making sugar skulls, papel picado, tissue paper flowers and tortillas. All ages. The library is at 311 Maple Ave.

School tours in Edmonds
Edmonds School District Superintendent Kris McDuffy will lead tours of local schools, starting with Lynnwood High and Hilltop Elementary on Nov. 8. The tour runs from 9 a.m. to noon and begins and ends at the district offices at 20420 68th Ave. W, Lynnwood.
The program includes breakfast and an update on district activities and transportation on a school bus. Other tours are scheduled for noon-3 p.m. Dec. 6, 9 a.m.-noon March 8, and noon-3 p.m. May 2.
