Celebrity host Sylvia O’Stayformore leads a 21-and-older bingo night Jan. 13 at the Camano Center, 606 Arrowhead Road, Camano Island. Admission is $16 and includes 10 games. Make blankets for kids
The Binky Patrol, a group of quilters, knitters and crocheters who make “binkies” for children in traumatic situations, seeks volunteers and donations of fabric, yarn or thread. The next meetup is Sunday in Marysville.

Project Linus makes quilts and blankets to donate to Snohomish County kids who have experienced traumatic life events. The next event is 12:30-2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Carl Gipson Senior Center of Everett, 3025 Lombard Ave. Materials and equipment are provided. Bring a sewing machine if you have one.

Serve on a Bothell committee
Residents are invited to apply by Jan. 16 to serve on any of Bothell’s nine boards and commissions, which review and recommend policies and plans to the City Council. There are 28 seats available, including Arts & Festivals, Planning, and Parks & Recreation.
