National Heritage Area talk planned: Activist Valerie Steel plans to give a talk on the National Maritime Heritage Area Feasibility Study at 7 tonight at View Ridge Elementary School, 202 Alder St., Everett.
The study explores whether part of the Washington coast should be designated as a National Heritage Area. That designation might mean more dollars for the area.
Steel’s talk is part of the Harborview-Seahurst-Glenhaven Neighborhood meeting.
