Downtown Everett’s annual classic car event Cruzin’ to Colby is set for this weekend.
The events start with a cruise on Colby Avenue from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday. The cruise is open to the first 400 cars that are registered.
A dance is scheduled from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Holiday Inn, 3105 Pine St. Dance tickets are $10. The dance features live music from the Wright Brothers Band.
Monday’s free Show n’ Shine goes from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Wright Brothers Band will play again from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. An Elvis impersonator then will perform until 3 p.m. The awards ceremony is set for 3 to 4 p.m.

Garbage pickup as usual in Everett: Rubatino Refuse Removal trucks will be in full operation for garbage and recycling Monday in Everett, but the office will be closed.
Discount bike helmets: Snohomish County Fire District 8 in Lake Stevens is offering discount bicycle helmets for families and children.
