David Ricci fundraiser

A fundraiser is planned for David Ricci of Snohomish to raise money for a prosthetic leg and for his medical expenses.

Ricci was injured in a train accident while volunteering in India.

The event is planned for 5 to 9 p.m. Friday at Bob’s Corn Maze,

10917 Elliott Road in Snohomish. Admission is $10 or $9 for children.

There will be a bonfire at the halfway point of the corn maze.

Ricci is a nephew of the corn maze owners, Bob and Sarah Ricci.

Football auction set: A football auction is coming to an airplane hangar.

The Arlington High School Football Auction Fundraiser is planned for 5 p.m. Saturday at the Arlington Airport Business Park.

The event, hosted by the Arlington High School Gridiron Club, is scheduled to include a band and catered dinner and drinks by The NASA Restaurant. The cost to attend is $30 per person or $50 per couple.

Arlington Airport Business Park Hangar B is located at 17617 B 49th Drive. Tickets are available at the door.

Support cancer research: A fundraiser is planned from noon to 7 p.m. Saturday at Fireplace Tavern, 2320 Everett Ave. in Everett, to support the American Cancer Society.

Silent auctions and other activities are planned.

Horse riding lessons: Equestrian Crossings in Coupeville, a nonprofit program providing horsemanship activities, offers lessons in riding and vaulting and equine therapy. Lessons begin Tuesday.
