Drive, Dunk, Dine

People are invited to Drive, Dunk and Dine from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday to support Mountlake Terrace High School sports and a safe and sober graduation night for students.

The event will take place at the high school, 21801 44th Ave. W., Mountlake Terrace. It includes:

Drive: Adults can take a short test drive with a school volunteer and Ford Motor Co. and Pierre Ford in Lake City will donate $20 to the MTHS Sports Booster Club as part of the Drive 4UR School program.

Dunk: Teachers, coaches and faculty chosen by the student body will take a turn in the dunk tank to raise funds for graduation night. Tickets are $5 for three balls.

Dine: Food vendors at the event will donate a percentage of their proceeds to support graduation night.

The Parent-Teacher-Student Association spring bazaar will take place inside the high school from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Open house with horses: A fundraiser for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is planned from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at Camp Horse Country, 8507 Highway 92 between Granite Falls and Lake Stevens.

During the open house, Camp Horse Country pledges to donate half of all proceeds from leasing horses, lessons and pony rides to the children’s hospital.

As a gag gift, people can sign up family members or friends to clean a stall or dump a muck bucket for a $5 donation.
