Senior project mulled: The culminating high school project, also known as a senior project, is no longer a state graduation requirement, starting with the class of 2015. So Edmonds School District leaders are exploring whether to keep the senior project as a district graduation requirement. A survey is at www.surveymonkey.com/s/VV9ZN5G. Feedback is requested before May 19. Current expectations for the senior project in the Edmonds district can be found at tinyurl.com/7510R1.
Roundabout construction: Work on the Five Corners Roundabout project in Edmonds begins Monday and will continue until November. Expect traffic delays and pedestrian detours. For the safety of construction workers, traveling public and pedestrians, please use caution when driving through the area.
A public meeting will be held at 6 p.m. on May 21 at the Edmonds Library Plaza Room, 650 Main St., about planned construction activities and the project schedule.
