The Everett PTSA Council is hosting two Everett School Board candidate forums. Candidates will have an opportunity to publicly address important issues that affect students, schools and the community. The forums also will allow voters an opportunity to become better informed about their choices for elected officials.
Candidates will be given an opportunity for opening and closing statements, as well as equal time to respond to questions. The forums will be moderated by Frank Ordway, government relations director for the League of Education Voters.
The first forum will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 16, at Heatherwood Middle School, 1419 Trillium Blvd., Mill Creek. The second will be held at 7 p.m. Oct. 30 at Cascade High School, 801 E. Casino Road, Everett.
