The public is invited to join the Snohomish Conservation District for a farm walk-about from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Rott-N-Ridge Ranch, owned by Pam and Dave Grudin in the north Lakewood area.

The Grudin’s are renovating their second farm and have added water collection systems, compost bins and native plant hedgerows. They recently went solar, taking their utility bill from $250 to $5 per month.

For a map and directions, register for the Grudin tour at rottnridgefarmtour.eventbrite.com.

For questions, call Snohomish Conservation District at 425-335-5634, ext 4. This tour is partially funded by the Stillaguamish River Clean Water District.
