Beach cleanup
A Spring Beach Cleanup and Low Tide Walk is planned for 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday on the Edmonds waterfront.
Help remove litter from the shoreline of Edmonds Marine Sanctuary and explore the beach at low tide with a ranger-naturalist.
Meet at the Olympic Beach Visitor Station, 200 Admiral Way. Wear gloves and boots, and bring an old bucket if you have one.
All ages are welcome to participate. No registration is necessary.
Donate kids bikes: Sharing Wheels Community Bike Shop is seeking the donation of working kids bicycles in preparation for its upcoming 11th annual Kids Bike Swap in June. These bikes will be refurbished by volunteers during work parties.

Learn backyard astronomy: A three-week Astronomy for the Backyard Enthusiast is offered for ages 18 and older and youths ages 8-18 with an adult is planned 7 to 9 p.m. Thursdays, May 2-16 at the Jennings Park Barn, 6915 Armar Road.

Help Habitat: Devine Desserts, a fundraiser for Habitat for Humanity of Snohomish County, is set for 7 p.m. Saturday, April 27, at Edmonds Community College, Woodway Hall, 20000 68th Ave. W., Lynnwood.
The event, with entertainment by The Way, an acapella vocal group, includes a dessert buffet catered by the college’s culinary program. Tickets are $35 each.
