Jetty Island opens Sunday, July 5 for the summer, with the free passenger ferry making regular trips from the Jetty Landing and Boat Launch at 10th Street and W Marine View Drive. The ferry runs Mondays-Thursdays 10 a.m.-6 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays 10 a.m.-9 p.m., and Sundays 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Reservations for city residents or groups of eight or more can be made two days in advance by calling 425-257-8304 between 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday. Tickets should be claimed 15 minutes prior to departure or they will be given to those on standby. Parking at the Port of Everett costs $3. Classic cars on display in Stanwood: The 13th annual Twin City Idlers Car Show is Sunday in downtown Stanwood. The cars are set to be on display from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. It costs $20 to register a vehicle the day of the show. The event is free for spectators. The show includes classic, antique and custom vehicles. Cars, trucks or motorcycles can be displayed.
