Front Porch: Learn about proposed Riverfront changes

Riverfront changes

The Everett Planning Commission on Tuesday is to consider changes to building rules that Polygon Northwest requested regarding the Riverfront redevelopment site. A public hearing is scheduled at 6:30 p.m. in the eighth-floor hearing room of the Wall Street Building, 2930 Wetmore Ave., Everett.

Polygon’s plans call for about 230 homes, fewer than the maximum 650 homes that city regulations would allow on the former Simpson Paper Co. mill property at the south end of the Riverfront. The changes under review involve lot widths, driveways and park space.
