Project Linus’ Make A Blanket Day will be from noon to 5 p.m. April 29 at Pacific Fabrics, 10203 Evergreen Way, Everett.
Anyone can help make quilts and blankets to be donated to Snohomish County kids who have experienced traumatic life events.
Materials and equipment will be provided. No experience required, but sewers are encouraged to bring their own sewing machines.
Volunteers are needed to sew, iron, inspect, pin, fringe or tie, anytime between noon and 5 p.m.
Snacks and door prizes are provided. If you are unable to attend but want to help, please make a quilt or blanket and drop it off at Pacific Fabrics.

The Christian-based group Celebrate Recovery is organizing a community BBQ at 6 p.m., today, at Harbor Light Church, 132 112th St. SW, Everett.
The free dinner will be followed by a meeting. This is a support group to help people and their relatives who are suffering from an addiction or from compulsive behavior.
