Police departments around Snohomish County plan a drug take-back day Saturday. People can bring old medicines for free disposal, no questions asked.

Arlington: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., 110 E. Third St.
Edmonds: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., 250 Fifth Ave. North.
Everett: 8 a.m. to noon, 3002 Wetmore Ave.
Lake Stevens: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Bartell Drugs, 621 Highway 9 NE.
Lynnwood: 8 a.m. to noon, 19321 44th Ave. West.
Monroe: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., 818 W. Main St.
Snohomish: 8 a.m. to noon, 230 Maple Ave.
Boom City Swap Meet opens: The Tulalip Tribes’ annual Boom City Swap Meet and Flea Market opens for the season Saturday and will operate Saturdays and Sundays from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. through early September.
The meet has family-friendly activities, food vendors (including Native American barbecued salmon and fry bread), handmade arts and crafts, antiques, a bouncy house and pony rides for kids, face painting, live karaoke and more. The entry fee is $1 per vehicle.
