Healthy Kids Day
This Saturday the YMCA of Snohomish County offers its Healthy Kids Day, billed as the nation’s largest health day for kids and their families.
Events will take place at all five YMCA of Snohomish County branch locations.
Activities include family games; activities including Zumba and Bootcamp; water safety skills; dental, vision, and hearing screenings; fitness testing; nutrition information; and community information for support and help in many areas.

Ahoy boaters: The Mukilteo Yacht Club is seeking new members and plans a membership cruise geared for prospective members on May 11 at the Everett Marina.
Club members will fly the MYC burgee from their boats at the “A” dock at the 12th Street Marina (north side). The day’s activities include an open house from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., disc golf at 1 p.m. (weather permitting) and a 5:30 p.m. barbecue dinner.

Learn bellydancing: A six-week bellydancing class begins next month to teach people about the music, culture, dances and movement from Egypt, Spain Turkey and India.
The classes are planned from 7 to 8 p.m. on Mondays, May 6 through June 1 at the Ken Baxter Community Center, 514 Delta Ave. Cost is $64. Prior registration is required.
