Glass float search
Glass sea floats will be hidden in the sands of Jetty Island as part of the Fresh Paint Art Festival on the Everett waterfront next weekend.
The annual Float Find starts at 10:30 a.m. Saturday* on the man-made island that is a popular local summer getaway. A passenger ferry runs leave from the 10th Street Marina Park, starting at 8:30 a.m. Parking is $3. Reservations are recommended.
Can’t make it to the jetty? Stop by the Schack Art Center, 2921 Hoyt Ave. in downtown Everett, and make your own float in the hot shop.

Sounds of Summer: Enjoy Marysville Parks and Recreation’s Sounds of Summer Concert Series at 7 p.m. Thursday featuring rock and blues covers from H30 Band.
