U.S. 2 speed change
Drivers will need to slow down as they approach the town of Skykomish on U.S. 2. The speed limit has dropped from 60 mph to 50 mph.
The Washington State Department of Transportation reduced the speed limit on U.S. 2 through Skykomish after evaluating travel speeds, roadway alignment, existing development and crash history.
Skykomish is within the U.S. 2 Traffic Safety Corridor, which has a goal of reducing serious collisions with enhanced safety.
