Run for Edmonds School Board: Candidate applications will be accepted through Thursday for an open seat on the Edmonds School Board.

Former School Board President Susan Phillips, who served from Director District No. 4, resigned March 11 in order to care for her ailing husband.

The term runs through November 2017. District 4 covers much of Lynnwood west of I-5.
