Status of Civic Center

The Mountlake Terrace City Council has scheduled a special meeting at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at the interim City Hall, 6100 219th Street SW, Suite 220, to discuss the next steps for the Civic Center.

See classic rides in Edmonds: The Edmonds Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual Edmonds Classic Car Show from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.

View more than 300 classic cars. The free event includes live entertainment and is presented by Mercedes-Benz of Lynnwood.

The car show will be held downtown at Fifth Avenue and Main Street around the fountain. An awards ceremony is set for 4:30 p.m.

Lynnwood K9 Unit benefit: Helping Hands Veterinary Clinic is hosting their second annual car and dog wash fundraiser in their parking lot where all proceeds will benefit the Lynnwood Police K9 Unit.

This event is scheduled from noon to 3 p.m. Sunday and will include a Lynnwood police canine unit. The clinic is located at 18415 33rd Ave. W., Suite R, in Lynnwood at the northwest corner of Alderwood mall.
