Girl reports attempted assault in Mill Creek

MILL CREEK — Police are investigating an attempted assault reported Tuesday morning in Mill Creek.

It happened at 7:39 a.m. outside an apartment building in the 13500 block of Heatherwood Drive, Mill Creek police Cmdr. Ken Neaville said.

The girl told police she was walking in the area when a man tried to grab her and pull her hair, Neaville said.

The girl ran away. She was unhurt.

Details about the suspect were limited Tuesday.
