The South Everett-Mukilteo Rotary Club on Nov. 19 assembled 350 bags filled with all the fixings for a Thanksgiving feast, then delivered them to families in the Mukilteo and Everett areas who had been identified as in need of help for the holiday.
The Mukilteo QFC grocery store was a sponsor.
Meanwhile, students and staff from Archbishop Murphy High School in Everett collected over 2,400 items for Operation Turkey Drop, more than doubling their goal. Thanksgiving food baskets with turkeys, hams, gravy packets, instant stuffing mix, canned vegetables and more went out to local families in need.
The freshman class also created Thanksgiving cards to accompany the baskets.
