EVERETT — A multi-car accident on Tuesday morning shut down Broadway in north Everett.

A BMW was northbound on Broadway about 9 a.m. when it struck three other vehicles, causing a pileup, Everett police spokesman Aaron Snell said. Some of the vehicles were believed to have been parked at the time.

No serious injuries were reported.

The crash closed the exits from northbound I-5 to Broadway in Everett for about 40 minutes.

Investigators do not suspect drugs or alcohol were involved.
