SEATTLE — The arrest last month for allegedly beating a stranger with a pool cue and stealing his car marked the sixth time a 17-year-old has been arrested in just over a year.
The Seattle Times reported that Kersan Pascal pleaded not guilty on Monday to first-degree robbery in connection with the June 24 attack in South Seattle. Pascal has been charged as an adult.
Up until spring 2011, Pascal didn’t have a criminal record. Fourteen months late, he’s got six.
He has been arrested for pushing a woman in front of a Metro bus in downtown Seattle, vehicle prowling, theft at a Safeway store and cutting another boy with a folding knife as the boy rode past Pascal on his bicycle, among other problems.
