Air Force Airman Brian Crosbie graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. Crosbie is the son of Tracy Crosbie of Stanwood and is a 2009 graduate of Stanwood High School.

Air Force Airman Christopher Lorica graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. Lorica is the son of Teresita Lorica of Oak Harbor. He is a 2002 graduate of Oak Harbor High School and earned an associate degree in 2007 from Mission College, Santa Clara, Calif.

Air Force Airman Mark Jones graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. Jones is the son of Randy and Donna Jones of Darrington. He is a 2008 graduate of Darrington High School.

Air Force Airman Christopher Hansen graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. Hansen is the son of Katherine Hansen of Oak Harbor and is a 2009 graduate of Oak Harbor High School.

Air Force Airman Philip Kengin graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. Kengin is the grandson of James Kengin of Oak Harbor.

Air Force Airman Joseph Klein graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. Klein is the grandson of Eileen and John Hand of Post Falls, Idaho. He is a 2011 graduate of Snohomish High School.

Air Force Airman 1st Class Christina Gurnett has graduated from the cryptologic linguist specialist course at the Defense Language Institute, Foreign Language Center, Presidio of Monterey, Calif. Gurnett is a cryptologic linguist assigned to the 314th Training Squadron at Presidio of Monterey. She is the daughter of Danielle Julien of Snohomish. Gurnett graduated in 2005 from Snohomish County Christian School, Mountlake Terrace.

Marine Corps Pvt. Anna Pippin, daughter of Rhonda and Wayne Pippin of Monroe, earned the title of U.S.Marine after graduating from recruit training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, S.C. Pippin is a 2012 graduate of Monroe High School.

Marine Corps Pvt. Kennedy Donaldson, daughter of Aron Donaldson of Marysville, earned the title of U.S.Marine after graduating from recruit training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, S.C. Donaldson is a 2012 graduate of Fort Madison High School, Iowa.

Marine Corps Pvt. Fallon Harrell, daughter of Angelee and Nicholas Harrell of Snohomish, earned the title of U.S.Marine after graduating from boot camp at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, S.C. Harrell is a 2011 graduate of Snohomish High School.
