Veterans Events
The local Fleet and Family Support program and WorkSource of Snohomish County plan to host the Snohomish County Regional Veterans Job &Resource Fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 10 at the Marysville Armed Forces Reserve Center, 13613 40th Ave. NE.
Veterans are encouraged to bring resumes, dress for success and be prepared to participate in job interviews.
People can register for the job fair at www.worksourceonline.com.
Among those planning to be at the fair are representatives from aviation and technical companies, the PUD, the federal Border Patrol, Safeway, Lowes, the Port of Seattle and Snohomish County.
Active Duty
Air Force Airman Andrew C. Carter graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. Carter earned distinction as an honor graduate. He is the son of Janet Savlie of Coupeville.
Air Force Airman Krystal M. Jeffers graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. Jeffers is the daughter of Wayne and Jody Jeffers of Freeland. She is a 2010 graduate of South Whidbey High School.
Air Force Airman Jerod R. Hopkins graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. Hopkins is the son of Kimberly Devereaux and stepson of Derick Devereaux of Edmonds.
